Every Saturday morning here at Boomstick Video, we have a "first-come, first-served" experience unlike any other. Saturday Rewind is a weekly event that will allow customers to travel back in time to remember what Saturday mornings used to be like back in the early 90s. During regular Saturday business hours, we encourage you to come visit our retro room to indulge in hundreds of retro cartoons and commercials playing non-stop on our old school tube TV. During this event, we feature full Saturday morning broadcasts from the mid 1990s for our customers to enjoy.
Saturday morning cartoons are extremely special to all of us because they aired during such a unique cultural period in history. A dedicated, captive audience of young kids woke up early for sugary cereal and uninterrupted animated adventures, creating a shared ritual with limited choices, powerful nostalgia, and a strong tie-in to toys and cultural trends before streaming fragmented viewing habits, making this a cherished, nostalgic weekly event. We hope to re-create that magic every weekend.
